rust??

What is the best way to get rust off of stuff. Like a frame and stuff. The guy I got my 250x from didnt take care of it too much and it has pretty much rust on it. I tried sanding it off but it takes soo long. Is there any easier ways? Thanx in advance for any help.

umm....try spraying wd-40 on there....let it sit for like 5-10 min and if you got a wire brush that connects to a drill you should be good....but it will be cheaper if you take the whole thing apart...and send the frame out to get sandblasted,and maybe powdercoated as well;)

Get a s.o.s pad and just scrub...

mr. clean magic sponges.;) take off rust, grease, dirt, scuff marks, and even the baked on mud from the headers:eek2: or u could always get some steel wool on the non painted parts....

Mr Clean Magic Sponges are the shiz!!!

and they disappear into little nubbins that you just chuck into the can :D i use them everywhere.

great for getting vomit stains off the patio deck :cool:
