Engine Oil Question

Im wanting to change my engine oil again but i dont have a honda dealer close enough to me to run there and get some. Anyone just get oil from NAPA, my engine is fully broken in now so i can run synthetic. Can anyone tell me what oil is good from napa that is synthetic? I already got an extra filter so i just need the oil.

We run motul synthetic fortified in our race bikes 15w50! Not sure what you can get locally?

I live in the boonies so i only have a couple autoparts stores to choose from. I usually just picked some up at college then brought some home. My closest honda dealer is 45 minutes away...

Yeah... i was wondering what oil comes in the the R from the factory... is it GN4 or HP4??.... but i'd say that any good brand of oil that is 10w-40 or the recommended weight is good enough to put in the R just to answer your question.

I went down there and checked.. they dont have any synthetic in 10w/40. I was bored so i made the 45 minute trip to the honda dealer.

walmart has the mobile 1 red cap....best stuff ever ;)

Walmarts 45 minutes away too.. lol. I dont think ill have to worry about buying oil for a while, i stocked up on it today.

So what did you end up getting at the Honda dealership? GN4 or HP4?? Or something else? - Later Scott

I ran GN4- no moly during break in and now that i have it broken in i just switched to HP4M. I loaded up on that and filters and the tranny fluid thats in that red different looking bottle (ran this from the start).
