front brakes wont grab

my front brakes on my 400 suck they barely work and i wanna make them tighter. they are stock calipers and pads and lines. what do i have to do to make them work better. what do i need to make them work better?

How are your pads? You may need to bleed the lines also.

the pads are fine. how do i do a good job bleeding them

You can purchase a one person bleeder kit from parts stores like Autozone. It will make your life much easier. I think they around $20. Well worth the money IMO. It took me around a half hour instead of pumping the lever for hours. Just keep bleeding until you are getting nothing but clean fluid with no air bubbles. Good luck.
