Rausch Track update from GNCC site

Rausch Creek Update and Directions:

Worried about another parking-lot mud bog? Not to worry. The Rausch Creek people have widened this weekend's entry and exit road to four lanes, and since the terrain there is very rocky, it holds up almost unfazed to water.

GNCC Trail Boss Jeff Russell says if it started raining now and didn't let up through Sunday afternoon, we'd still have good parking. But lets hope we don't find out if that's true or not.

Here's how to get to this year's event, which is a few miles from last year's track (last year's track is now on it's way to becoming a road-racing course).

I-81 Exit 107, make a right if coming North. Follow signs and make a right in town, then make a left on Route 125. The track will be a mile down the road on your right.

BTW if u thought Foot and Hurricane were bad.....wait till Rd. 5 of the Pa State....Jack Frost... theres a few rocks there too.

Yes both of them races did suck but derno I dunno how flys threw rocks but up at dutchman he looses it I dont understand. See all ya guys up at rausch!

I read on the GNCC site to take 81 to exit 107 make a right..follow signs and make a right in town then make a left on rt 125...track about a mile on right. Should they really say take a right on 209, go to Tremont and then turn left on rt 125 and then the track is 1 mile on right? It looks like I could end up in either Echo Valley or Poplar creek! I think this because Tremont is the only town I see on the mapquest map. Thanks for any help!:confused:

don't sweat it just get off the exit and follow the arrows to the track... there usually real good about marking the way to the track from the interstate.

Thanks, Jason I figured it would be marked but I will be running a little late I'm sure so I didn't want to waste time looking for the place!!!!!you know I could never ask for directions once I get in the truck....hope to see you and derno this weekend. If not, good luck to both of you. What class will derno be running? I'm thinking one of the morning "C" classes but I don't know how old he is:D I'll be in the 33+ "C" class.

sorry........I was on the line in stock class....whole way on the right next to Will Cashion... I got a great start....spent the first 6 miles battling with Will, Tyler Lenig and Brandon Carter...then the skid plate broke and bent the rear sprocket,derailed the chain, and doubled up in the counter shaft sprocket...:( ........
I got towed in we fixed it and my first lap was over an hour................... then i went back out and made 2 pretty fast laps...got 3 laps in total.....:(

as far as the cooler.it was there.
we pitted around the corner after the pro pits....big yellow EZ up............ bad day for me, good day for my friends.they got 5th and 6th in 265A.... and 4th in C class.

well better luck next time I guess!!!!!!!

That sucks ta here Jason. You'll have better luck at the 6 hour I"m sure..
