The force required to rip a car completely in half is incredible, it had to have been over 100mph AS he hit the tree. Imagine sliding sideways in a 4-wheel slide at 100mph! :eek2:

it was in portugal. it was 120+ into the tree. the driver and passanger were drunk. look at the white towels at the ground, both died.

Speedometer is still stuck at 110MPH. That is by far the worst crash I have ever seen. Jeez...

Saw this pic today.... by far the worst wreck I've ever seen.

BTW, the car is an Audi A3 (kinda like an upscale GTI) and appears to be a diesel....only available over in Europe...and the speedo is locked at 90kmh, not mph. I believe the car is supposed to do that when impact occurs...not sure though.

Read the whole thread on the original website. Kind of thought provoking.

The speedo reads 90KMH (55MPH). The key broke off in the ignition. it was the driver's head that messed up the steering wheel, and the driver and passenger are the things under the white sheets.
