Is anyone running a six pack rack on their quad. Even if you don't use it for racing, they sure are nice on long trail rides or when out playing in the dunes all day with your buddies. I was thinking about getting the AC six pack rack and was wondering if anyone else had one. Pics? Preferences? Thanks.

quallerd,

I bought the Armadillo 6 pack rack and it works well for putting a small cooler in. I used it last weekend and it was nice to have out in the dunes. It is very lightweight aluminum but appears to be very strong. I got it from Rocky Mountain ATV for about $75.00. Also the rear light relocation bracket is mounted solid to the rack and drops the light down out of the way of the rack. I sat down for about 45 minutes after getting it with some Mothers Aluminum polish and cleaned it up so it looks better than the regular dull finish it came with..... Later Scott

quallerd,

I haven't taken any pictures with it on, but I can. I haven't posted any pictures to a forum before, so can anyone can help me some instructions on posting pictures to this forum, then I can post them. OR give me your email address and I can send them to you directly. Keep in mind I worked this Armadillo rack over with Mothers Aluminum polish for about 45 minutes to get it looking nice. Scott

I have the AC (no pics) and it works fine. It clamps to the stock grab bar with wide formed plates and 3 bolts, I carry extra fuel on the long rides with it.
