Due to a fracture of the poor quality OEM aluminum shifter we tried an old TRX250R IMS Folding steel shifter to see if it fits, Yes it does, splines are same and is within a 1/2 inch (a little longer than stock) and is shaped correctly. Ordering a new one for permanent replacement.
This new 450R is impressive. 3 rides on it 1)Mid-Atlantic Broken Wheel HS, 2) Sparta KY GNCC, and 3)Mid Atlantic Buckshot HS with good results in all. If it had E-start would be the perfect woods machine. With only a slip on pipe and a re-jet this thing rips. Stock tank has good range, stock shocks are rideable at A class speeds
