driving me nuts

i have a '94 300 and i blew it up. and now that i got it all back together with a wiseco piston hi compression (not sure what kind ratio is) and its got a supper trapp for a pipe. it runs like **** and and doesnt want to wind out. its fine at an idle but at 3/4 throttle it pops and cuts out bad. can any one tell me wtf is wrong with it. should the valves be set so they open more or something.

any help is great.

A pop at 3/4 throttle would mean your main jet is lean and you need to go some.

Your needle is to lean. take the clip on the needle down one groove and see if that helps.

If the jet and needle things dont help, check plug gap.My R drove me nuts for about a month.Turned out plug was about .010 too wide.
