broken carrier?

i have recently broke my stock carrier . i ordered a rad on ebay . looks nice btw. here is my problem it broke at the adjuster where ya stick the tool in to adj chain. i wanna change this myself , to save money . how do i get the old 1 out . i need someone to walk me through this . i dont know how to go bout this seein how i never got it to break loose? please help me tyvm

alright stpe by step lets go
losen up swingarm. take ur chain, sproket,brake rotor, brake essembly, and anti fade off. pull the axle through the left side of the left side. after the axle and everything else is off excpet for the carrier in the swingarm. grab a piece of wood that will fit in your carrier or the same size and hammer it out the left side. the whole carrier should come out . then replace carrier and slide azle back through. just put everything back on

thx i think i got it / i dont have to break the nut loose on the carrier to tighten chain or loosen it?

To adjust the chain, no. To replace the carrier, yes.
