How does everyone feel about the IMS extended fuel tank? How much extra riding time would it actually buy you? They are pretty pricey in my opinion for an additional .6 gallons. However, the white one does look really cool. Also, do they offer any other advantage over the stock tank besides the small gain in capacity? Thanks!

for me i dont need extra gas. it takes me all weekend to run out of gas. i ride motocross and still run pump gas (93 only). if i gan race fuel i might come in handy but maybe later.

If you have any pics of an ims tank installed on a 450r I'd love to see them. I'm trying to decide which color tank I like the best; red, white,... Thanks!

Yeah, that's what I'm talkin about. It looks AWESOME! How do you like the tank? Any problems with it?

Nope no problems at all...only thing is you have to have a +1 stem for it to clear. But I was getting that anyway.

I have a stock stem and it just barely touches the tank.
Its not putting any gouges in the tank.

Really....on mine we put it on with the stock and it was hitting the bumpers when you turned it hard each way.

sort of off topic, but does anybody know how to get the yellowish tint out of the IMS tanks? I guess its the overflow of gas that causes it. My next IMS tank will be black for sure.
