Yes to your question, but i think that indent was put there from factory. I think i remember that discussion on here before and i remember that ppl were sayin its there for that reason..

no worries, they come like that from White Bros. You didn't get a pipe that was dinged up.

I thought I got ripped when I first bought my pipe.....than I read that little manual that came with the pipe, and it says right there they put it there so the pipe doesn't hit the caliper;)
