I need to know where the oil filter is located on a 2004 trx250ex. Please leave message ASAP, i am changing my oil for the first time tomorrow.:confused:

Its not in the owners manual, in fact it only mentions the oil filter once, with no detail of where it is.

There is no cartridge type filter that needs to be replaced at every oil change. There is a screen and a centrifugal filter/screen that need only be cleaned (not replaced) about every 200 hours. Just drain the old oil, put in 1.9 qts. of fresh and you are good to go!

I believe its inside the case. Check your ownders manual;)

Unfortunately it's not in the owners manual, you have to buy a repair manual for that. If you look at a parts breakdown (like on the servicehonda.com site) you can get a good idea where they are.
