heres why...well one reason. Elkas shocks are now just as good if not better than all those shocks out there. Plus, they will not blow out. PEP, AXIS, all those big names u hear; those shocks will blow out with 2000lbs of impact pressure and have 1 o-ring seal. Elkas will blow out at 5000lbs of impact pressure and have 3 o-ring seals :eek2: . Big difference....also, amazing shocks and very very smooth.

I agree 100% on the elkas, my quad rides like a dream and not only that but my confidence level has sky rocketed. I like those arms, the arms i got where my first set of LT's so thats all i know. I imagine they cant be too diffrent though.

That is very sweet. Elka's are everywhere now. Only thing I can see it needs is a carbon hood.

i would recommend everyone getting elka's. they have a great turn around time too. it only took me 10 days to get my shocks from the day i ordered them. you try to get that from axis. it will not happen. that was a big discision factor for me. i did not want to wait four weeks or more for shocks. plus i believe elkas are just as good if not better than axis. i am very pleased with mine.

pfft elka better than PEP? give me a break. But it is kind of funny how popular they get because of advertising. I am not going to say that elkas are bad shocks, because they aren't. But don't even go there saying they are better than PEP's.

I think they are...especially for XC/Baja

They did there homework and lots of testing and still do.

Elkas are good shocks. Why you do not see Axis??? Try to call and order the shocks... It sucks.. They still make a great shock but you can not get your hands on them. I agree Elka has there business together unlike axis or PEP. Shocks are a preference. I have 19" AXIS on my 450R but I ordered these in November and just got the shocks a week ago... Bike looks great. I will post my HOLZ/RMC prep bike next week. Putting on the new rear swingarm with new linkage so I can have 11" of rear travel..

my elka that i have are prolly equal to PEP but the new elkas with the hi and low speed compression adjust and rebound adjust are DEFINETLY the top shock on the market.

Elka has gotten a lot better. I got my first set about 3 years ago when they were fairly new. I liked that set, so I can't wait to try out the new ones since all the valving and everything will be better.
