It depends what kind of quad your looking for, if your looking for a trails quad a 300 is a really good choice. but if your looking for a race quad its not a bad choice either. you can really put some aftermarket parts in it and make it fast. i think a couple companies sell a true 300 kit, boret out to a 300 cc. they also sell a 330 kit. they say its faster than 400exs. honestly i think the 330 kit is mostly top end power. what i did with my 300ex was put in an 11:1 piston stock bore, web racing cam and heavy duty valve springs, along with white bros pipe and silencer K&N air filter and jet kit. its a pretty fast quad. but again it depends what your going to be using it for. you might want to take a look at the new raptor 350 also. it's still the warrior motor but those motors are bullet proof. they look pretty sweet and they got some good top end power. you can also put some performance parts in those things too to make it fast. good luck

If you are good enough tp push the quad to the limits then it can be fun. Wish I had a 400, but have been having fun with the 300 for now.
