'04 price for 300ex

I want to buy a brand new 300EX from a local dealer. I want a deal but I want a price that is also fair for him .... so we both feel happy about the purchase.

This is the same dealer I bought my CBR 600 F4i sportbike last summer. I bought it for $7,000 vs the MSRP of $8,200. Since then I have got all my tires, oil changes, gear, etc. there too. Trying to be a loyal customer.

The MSRP is $4,500 .... he quoted me $4,100. Personally I still think thats a bit high. Based on the pricing for the motorcycle about $3,850 is about right.

I'm thinking I shouldn't pay more than $3,950 ......

What do you guys think.

Well hes already taking off like 400 dollars....when i bought my kfx400 alls they took off was about 600...i think you should just get the 400ex.....

I already have a Banshee and a 300 Fourtrax 4x4. Honestly I ride the Banshee for about 15 minutes and get the craziness out of my system. Then I take the 4x4 and ride trails for an hour. I'm thinking the 300ex is a nice comprimise between the two. Good sporty trail machine.

just as well to get the 400 though the banshee will still have way more power and the 400 will be good on trails and for mx
