WHAT IS A GOOD AXLE NUT?
LOOKING INTO BUYING THE DURA BLUE, POSI, OR MAGNUM

I bought one from Alloy Specialists--360-896-6942. Have had it for about 6 months now and really like it. It has two allen bolts to secure it to the axle. Has never loosened up. Eliminates the need for big wrenches. Just make sure to keep the threads clean.

Until I get my new axle, hopefully in a few weeks :D . I have been using electrial tape to keep it from coming loose. ;)
When I get my LSR axle I will look at a Rad nut or something.

What bike do you need a nut for??

Also I agree with the Durablue thing to an extent... the problem with Durablue is they charge $75 to replace it when it does break or bend... I would go with RPM they replace free and its for life..

It's for the 400ex... i'll be installing it as soon as the lock nut gets here.. by this weekend hopefully.

Are the durablue lock nuts any good.

Woops... how did you do that??

If you really want a cool locknut (dont have one for the 400ex yet) but Chozen Performance has round ones... very cool... and they give you a wrench to put it on with...very cool..

I dont think the Dura Blue axles are any worse than all the rest. The 400 puts a lot of stress on a axle. They are made out of the same thing(I think) If you stress an axle enough to bend or break its going to give no matter what kind it is
