ATV Sport did a clutch lever shootout in their Oct 2001 issue.
Obviously when ranking clutch pull, the hydraulic kit's had the least pull. I thought it was a good article. They measured lever length, lever-to-grip distance, lever pull force and listed sugg. retail price. Taking all of the above in to account and if you're not looking for a quick adjust setup or hydraulic, the Honda CR250 perch & lever ranked the best. Also on the cheaper side compared to some of the others. The Works Connection was the winner in the world of quick-adjust manual clutches. Easy pull, quick adj good and positive, lever-to-grip distance is good, has a nylon bushing between the perch and bars. But it's twice as much as the Honda CR250. Hope that helps summarize the article.

Get the RTC you won't be disappointed. The pull is very light and the overall fit/finish is great. It also have a grooved lever which is great when it's wet. I think it was 47 bucks from K&K.
