I was wondering who uses thumb or twist throttles.

My Dad loves the thumb throttles. I prefurr the twist myself but I've race mx for years and never spent alot of time on quads.

What do you use?

Thumb throttle. I only spent a little time on dirt bikes, so thumb is what I'm used to.

I like the thumb throttle better. I have tried twist throttle but i forget to let go of it when i'm in the air. It gets scary in the air for me when i forget to ease back on it and then it's too late.

IMO twist throttles are dangerous on quads....

imo there isnt much of a difference risk wise from a db to a quad, i just started riding twist on my quad about a month ago and i love it, threw me off a few times but i can ride it fine now, so twist for me

Thumb, I prefer thumb. I've had dirtbikes and quads.

I got a twist, it takes a little while to get used to it but once I got used to it i love it. Twist throtles are going on the rest of my quads.

i use to run twist...it was hard to twist in the mud though, and it was harder to go fast IMO...

I use Thumb now...

I tried using a twist once and I just couldn't get it down. But I haven't ever ridden dirtbikes i think if you started on dirtbikes twist would be the way to go because when your thumb gets tired it sucks!

If I ever own a dirt bike it will have a thumb throttle on it !!

I can see how the 4-stroke riders would like a thumb throttle but I can imagine controlling a 2- strokes powerband with a thumb. I think I would have to have a twist on a 2-stroke

id rather use twist for both or else id feel weird using a thumb/clutch, but on semi auto quads i like thumb
