It looks like a good setup, But if your wanting an XC bike, The bansshee really isn't a good bike to get started on! It's just not that rider freindly! I havn't ever ridden a shee with all of those aftermarket parts, and it may seem to handle better! Good luck, and tell me how it works out for you. Good thread!

So your saying the banshee is all you've got? Just the banshee?

Just kidding!! I know exactly where you are coming from. Now I'm not 100% on this so get another opinion but slightly lower compression will help it lug better for accelerateing from those tight turns, should also help prevent stahling and makes for easier hot starts. But like I said GET ANOTHER OPINION!! I'm not 100% on that.

you better be in good shape because in a race that long with so many turns the shee will easily get the better of you

Try a steering stabilizer and 4:1 front rims if you dont already have them. Other than that it should be pretty good.

Did the 2 into 1 pipe and carb help your bottom end power out.

O yea i have a steering stablizer a denton snd the 4:1 wheels too. Yea that 2into1 pipe and carb has insane bottom end alot less clutching
