i would recommend the fcr39mm. i havent had any problems with mine and it definetly added some noticeable power. it is worth the money IMO

yup exactly like that. c&d has some of the best deals on new fcr carbs, but that auction looks like it might go off pretty cheap to

The good thing about C&D is they will jet it to your specs...

Yep, I got mine from C&D Racing and they pre-jetted mine for me. All I had to do was put the carb on, adjust the air/fuel mixture screw a little, and ride. It made a big difference, I love it.

Yes, you can run the stock carb with those mods. I got all my motor mods before I got my FCR carb. It ran ok with the stock carb, but it came to life with the FCR.

the fcr didn't really give me much more power over the stock carb. i have heard one other prominent member say that too. i know the jetting was close because i contacted several places on what to jet it with. i was running the exact same setup as sparks recommends and it ran OK, but that was it. i noticed mainly a nice gain in low end power and throttle response. however, for drag racing, it didn't do much at all. i believe this is due to me spending numerous hours tuning the stock carb.

however, if your stock carb isn't tuned in to its full potential, the fcr will feel astonishing becasue your not getting near as much out of it as you should be.

i had my fcr for about a month and then i sold it.

You can also get a stock carb bored out to a 38 from the stock 35.5 for around $125.

I have one of these carbs and it's not a mind blowing difference but did give more power from top to bottom and went well with the head porting I had done.
