11:1 stockbore

Okay is there much of a power difference between a stock bore 11:1 compession piston and a 416 11:1 compression piston? I dont really have any quad shops around here to bore it out so i was wondering if there was much of a difference. Thanks

you could always send it out to FDO, they do some great work.

as for the power difference I've never ridden a 416, but i do have a 11:1 comp motor on a stock bore and it isnt to bad on power....I was running a 39mm fcr on it and a lrd exhaust. i was surprised with how snappy it was

since you already have an exhaust, i would recommend you to get the 11:1 comp stock bore, and a hot cam stage 2 at the minimum. then maybe a fcr 39mm if you had some extra cash. it would give you a bang for the buck.

as long as your stock bore is still good, but you will still have to put cross hatch on the bore.
