Oil Filter

what is the best oil filter to use on my 400ex. Im going to be running mobil 1 red cap. any help

stock OEM from ebay in bulk or just go to your stealership....good chouice with the mobile 1 red cap...its so nice

also mobil 1 red cap is ok for wet clutches? i heard it makes them slip

Mobil 1 is fine... I use ams oil synthetic, its not the cheapest but it does the job I want it to.

any help?? also is their any other better oil filters available for the 400ex. the oem ones look cheap

the OEM ones arent cheap...they are nice & no...the mobile 1 red cap doesnt make your clutch slip...the other synthetic's will though

lol, sorry I didn't even say anything about filters... I use Emgo filters, they are fairly cheap and I haven't had a problem yet...

I run Amsoil 0w/40 and Amsoil oil filters too. Not the cheapest stuff, but I don't have to change out as often either.

I held off on synthetics for a long time, but I am a believer in Amsoil now, lol!:D

stock filters are your best bet. Fram filters seem to work fine also, and they are cheap.

how much are the stock filters for a 400ex everywhere?

400ex stock OEM filters are $5 here...my trx450r OEM filters are $11 & smaller...screw that..i bought 5 in blk off ebay for $20 shipped

from the deal here...a little over $5. Ebay will be your best bet for cheap OEM filters
