The price is listed as $147.79 for a "wheel set". Anyone know if this is for 1 wheel or is this price for both rear rims?

Thanks,
Guy

don't know, it's very confusing...

I just ordered 1 bolt for my seat, a whopping .32 or something like that.. turns out it was a bag of 10 for .32

??

I'd say it's for 1 wheel, but who knows..?

Its probably 147.00 a wheel, a local tire shop was changing my tires the other day and messed up one of my wheels. They ended up buying me 1 new wheel from Honda and it was like $200.

Your better off getting a set of polished Douglas red lables, run you about $50 each

the stock rims are great, for that price you might as well buy aluminum beadlocks or save a lil but for carbon rims.

I may have a lil pool special on rims soon........pmme if you think I should do it...

those douglas wheels look good but if you ride in rockie areas you better get reinforcement rings or bead locks. they bend like tin cans! I have a set that have been straightened so many times I got scared of them. Factory rims are the way to go for strength. But for the money I'd go with bead locks.

Surely thats for a set of 2. For a set of 2 tires and wheels is like $230 so that would have to be 2 rims. Call Terry Marcum. he will give you the best price in your door!! i would think a "set" means 2 anyway!

I would bet it's for one rim. When I last heard, the rears are more expensive than the front rims, and one OEM front rim retails at 118.00. I bought one, so I know. I messed up one rear rim and wanted to buy just one, but decided that ordering a pair of Douglas Red labels rear rims with Reinforcment Rings by OMF was a better way for me to go for. They were like 180.00 including tax and shipping.

I ordered some lug nuts from Service Honda recently. I thought they were about $2.50 for a package of five - so I ordered two thinking that I would get a total of 10 nuts. When I got the parts there were only two nuts!

I bent one of my factory wheels right in the rolled edge rim. When I saw the price of a new wheel I figured I might as well try bending the dent back into shape. It worked! I used a large ball peen hammer and just worked it back into shape. It holds air just fine and doesn't wobble either.

my friend bent a stock front b4 and all 4 of my stockers are bent... i payed 134 for my champion beadlocks and they are stonger then the stock that cost more... if i were u i would buy a ringed rim they are stronger...

and everyone laughed at me when my frined wanted 400$ for a new set of tires and rims that would have costed way more...

I've never bent a rim on any of my stockers (not to say that it can't happen) and I know they're a bit pricey. There are 2 reasons why I'm leaning away from beadlocks:

1.) I don't like how they hold water and dirt inside the rim

2.) I don't especially like the look on my otherwise stock looking bike.

I dunno, I'm still undecided as to what I want to do.

Does anyone know if, and where, you can buy the reinforcement rings, or beadlock rings, and have them welded on your rims?

Here's a pic of what I did to my front rim when I bent it. My rear is bent too, but ever so slightly. I ended up buying a new OEM front, and a pair of Douglas Red Label with Reinforcment rings from OMF. OMF is a great company to work with, and they are very timely in delivering. Plus, I paid only 89.00 per rim with the rings installed.

i think lrd handles a polish called "Heavy Metal Polish"....i got some at sandfest in whinchesterbay oregon when i was out there...and i got some green which is medium grit,,,and then some white which is fine grit and it took the black right out of the rims....with a little work of course...but it is good stuff
