new 416 cutting out

i just put a new 416kit in and at about half throttle it cuts out really bad until the rpms get higher and it runs ok. any help appreciated. thanks

sounds like the needle jet is on the lean side, you might try droping the clip down a notch and see how it runs

i just had it resleeved because the guy that bored it made it out of round it had a 416 in it before and it ran fine.
