Picking up the Magura hyd. clutch tonight, don't know if any existing parking brake block offs will work.Anybody dealt with this yet? Thanks for any help....

all rear caliper blockoffs are the same.

what would happen iff you take the cable off and just leave it like that

moisture will get in the caliper and may cause it to seize.

Thanks for the swift reply Silverfox,I wouldn't have ever guessed something like a brake blockoff would be common to all.Too bad more stuff doesn't interchange.

I've heard that with the magura clutch, you lose some engine feel. Almost like the clutch is either engaged or dissengaged. Please let us know if this is true, because i want a magura, but still want to be able to feel the motor.

you've had experience with them? If so, how were they overall?...easier clutch pull?

i dont know how much easier it would be on the 450r, im sure its pretty light since its a brand new quad. they do make the pull much more smoother. i really dont see any reason to switch to one though unless your clutch is making your hand tired. you do not need to be worried about " not being able to feel the engine " thats not a problem.

My KTM 250 MXC had a stock hyd. clutch. It is not hard to get used to, but it is a little different than a normal clutch.

You can't really have it half in or out, since you are using a pump instead of a cable.

I like the feel of the 450s clutch, but the hyd. would be nice to have.
