Even after all the rain and almost everyone having to get pulled in to their pit area, Racer Productions was able to get the AM race started on schedule. Also the poor conditions didn't stop many from racing because over 300 riders signed up.

Traci Cecco had her Alba Racing YFZ ready this weekend after having a stator failure at Loretta Lynn's. Stephanie already had four wins heading into the 7th round and Traci only had two, so she knew that she needed a win.

The awesome thing about the GNCC series is how it brings together the whole family. I know of several families that have the father, son, and daughter all racing in the GNCC series together and that is just awesome in my book.

Ken Vickerd races the Super Senior Class while his son Cory Vickerd races 4 Stroke A.

Before you knew it, The race was underway with the Women and Super Senior Class taking off first. Traci Cecco quickly put her Team Safari YFZ out front with Troy Racing's Stephanie Parton in 2nd and John Gallagher close behind leading the Super Seniors.

By the End of the 1st lap, Traci Cecco was out front with Stephanie Parton riding hard in her shadow. Unfortunately, Stephanie got hung up bad in the 2nd lap and took over an hour to complete the 2nd lap.

Angel Atwell took advantage of Stephanie's situtation and moved into 2nd place.

Even with Stephanie out of the picture, Traci didn't slow down one bit. She continued her charge as her husband Rick Cecco rooted her on as she headed into the pits for goggles.

Traci went on to Win the Race and the Overall by almost three minutes over 2nd overall, which was an incredible ride for Traci! She was extremely pleased how her Maxxis RazrII tires pulled her through the mud.

She was so excited about her win that she lit them up on the Podium :macho

Stock Class

My biggest sponsor, My Father Ed Foley, attended his last GNCC for a little while because he can't miss much more time from work. He has been a great help over the last five rounds, and I will really miss his company. He enjoyed meeting everyone and really got a kick out of everyone coming up to him and saying are you "Harlen's Father". By the sixth round, he had people coming up to me asking if I was "Ed's Son", which was really funny.

Thanks Again dad for all your support!

The Start had myself and Richard Travalena battling for a top spot heading into the 1st turn, but by the 2nd turn, I had spun around backwards facing the rest of the class and ended up heading into the woods 2nd to last with Tyler Lenig who got nailed hard going into the 2nd turn by another rider.

Admin

Will Cashion was in 4th place, but was in hot pursuit of Travalena to take over the third spot, but at the end of the 2nd lap Will's YFZ quit on him and left him sitting in the woods:(

I was having a rollcoaster ride moving up and falling back just a quickly throughout the day. I worked my way up to 6th on the first lap, but couldn't find my pit area on the 2nd lap and went without goggles, which really cost me. I ended up getting hungup on a vine that I never saw and spent atleast five minutes trying to get free. Fortunately, a spectator helped me break it off and lift my quad off of it. I was off and running again, but dropped way back. I put the hammer down on the last lap and pulled off the fastest last lap time for the stock class and moved back up to 5th place.

I give alot of credit to the awesome new ITP "HD" tire. Those rear tires are the best tire that I have ever run in the mud because I never once got stuck from lack of traction. They pulled me through everything without missing a beat, and I was totally amazed. Thanks ITP for finally making a great mud tire!

I was able to pass Dave Henke on the last lap after he got stuck behind some riders in a slick section, and he finished 6th.

Tyler Lenig had his ups and downs also after having a poor start he too moved up quickly to 9th after the 1st lap and jumped up to 3rd in the 2nd lap with one of the fastest laps of he morning. He finished an Impressive 3rd ahead of Craig Reed.

Billy Good was once again on the gas and worked his way up to take the lead in the 2nd lap and by the end of the race he built a three minute lead over Travalena.

Billy Good is the 1st person to win two in row in the Stock Class this year in his 1st two races, so the rest of the class better watch out for this Pro Am rider.

I didn't look much better when I went up to congratulate Traci on the Podium. At first, I think she was scared of me as I walked up to her

Check out the ham in the background that grabbed the camera's focus.

Utility Unlimited

Doug Henke has been having an awesome season on his Kawasaki Vforce with a win in every race he has finished. He has also finished 5 times in the top 10 overall.

I had a chance to ride with doug at the General, and he really impressed me by the way he handled the Vforce. He also is running the new HD tire on his Vforce because of its thick sidewall it doesn't roll over from the extra weight of the Vforce which allows for better traction and handling.

Mike Penland show why he has won 10 National Championship racing the GNCC series with a 3rd Overall finish and the Utility Stock Class Win. Mike may not look like he would ride fast, but try to keep up with him one time especially in the mud. Mike is built like a brick, and his strength allows him to man handle his Kawasaki around the track. I give him alot of credit and respect for what he has done for the Utility Sport! Great Job Mike:macho
