Need help ASAP on exhaust problem

Guys, i have a 250r and the packing is gone.....its running ok without it but its loud as heck and i cant stand it.

Now i know your thinking, just go buy some repacking stuff, well i tried and everyplace here said they could order it, so i ordered it online but it wont be here till Monday, I want to ride this weekend.

Ive done some looking around here and other sites as well as motorcycle sites..

They have ideas for temps, my question is have any of you ACTUALLY tried any of the ideas below.

1. Stainless Steel Wool

2. House insulation

3. Thermal Insulation

On some motorcycle sites they were talking about the thermal insulation.

And on a yamaha site they were talking about using hte house insulation.

What do you think for a temp solution ? And no i wont just ride it like this, its louder than hell..

I used insulation before to me it worked just as good.

Your talking the regular pink panther type insulation right ? Wrapped tightly around ?

Just think about it. Silencer is just fiberglass packing. Just put some insulation in and go ride. I wouldent wrap it real tight though cause the packing isn't as thigk as insulation.
