i'm not very good at explaing things but i'll try. anyways i removed my parking brake and got a new clutch lever and perch and there was this little box out of the old perch that has 2 wires connected to it and i was wondering what this is and what i do with it? Thanks

The box with the wires is for the parking brake. It deals with the engine and cdi box. I do know that the wires must be hooked togther or something looped to replace the wires so you still have a full circuit. I would recommend taking it to a local motorsport shop or your dealer. Hope I provided some help.

all you have to do is connect the two wires and tape it up with some electrical tape :cool:
if you dont connect them you will only be able to start the quad in neutral. its sort of a safety thing, so when you were in gear and didnt have the clutch pulled in the quad would not start.
you got a parking brake blockoff right?

ya just make sure you pull the clutch in before trying to start it

Yeah, crud will get in there and ruin your caliper.

i just put the .... cover back on and threaded a bolt in ?? is that good ?
i dont really wanna buy one of those things... :cool:

Ok, yes the stock piece seals it off better than most block offs b/c its got the o-ring seal.
You just need to check it often to make sure it isn't engaging the brake.

Does it engage anyones brake...? Most people take the park brake off because it doesnt do anything...
