Anybody Wakeboard?

Just wondering if anyone on here wakeboards? I use the quad as my winter toy and this is my new summer toy.

thats a nice boat, i have a wake board but i only have a sea doo soo its not much fun wake boarding behind the sea doo, not near enough wake to catch any aair

You need to find someone with a boat, especially one that is made for wakeboarding. It makes the sport a lot more fun when you can fly 12ft over the water.

Nice Boat GA! A buddy of mine has got a 2002 V-drive Malibu with a tower and pro pass. It is so awesome and throws a sweet wake! I just bought my own wakeboard 'cause I'm a bigger guy :), and his 134 wakeboard just won't work for me... I got a 155cm (I think... its been sitting in the closet for 6 months) Honeycomb and can't wait to bust my *** on it. :D

If wakeboards would have been around when we were going to the lake with friends in the late 80's, I prolly wouldn't have ever heard of ExRiders! :eek2:

Is your friends boat a WakeSetter? If it is those are great boats, I have boarded behind a few of them. Your board is probably a 145, I have never heard of a board that was 155.

V-Drives are the only way to go when it comes to monster wakes. My boat, 8 people, 1800lbs of balast, 10mph = wakesurfing for days

Yeah GA, his is a Wakesetter.... he's had it a few years and it just had some factory warranty repairs made. While it was there, they put 04 graphics on it, so it looks like new again! :cool:

You made me curious.... so I went and got my board out. It's a 147. I think they are pretty rare nowadays.

My friend has pretty much gotten into air chairing and is buying a Sky Ski this month.... something that I haven't tried yet. :eek:

You sound like my buddy... his quad and dirt bike gather dust (in the shop) through the summer. :) I told him I'd take good care of them for him! :devil: I pretty much left him speechless. :blah:

I wakeboard in the summer.. Tige 2100i and Hyperlite evolve 140, old *** board but its still tickin, also got a kneeboard and thats more fun then wakeboarding but my knees say im 80 after a long weekend.
