I wrapped my bars in electrical tape by the grips they don't slide around at all.

The best way to do this is...

Get some Masking tape and Elmer's white glue. (School glue works fine)

Wrap the metal handle bars in masking tape, then squirt some Elmer's glue into the rubber grip, the glue acts as a lubricant, so slide it on, then after 10 minutes the grips are crazy glued there.

I have never had any problems with regular grip glue. However, I do see that one of my grips is slowly being pushed out. I might need to take it off and do something different. If I get the grip off, do you think that it will be in ok shape to put it back on?

I tried that before....and I don't know if I did somthing wrong or what, but the next morning when I went back out to ride, my grips slipped right off.

Regual grip glue has always worked for me, but I can feel my grips becoming a little lose. I am going to get some wire and try that. Friend did it to his grips and it worked awsome, so hopfuly this works the same on mine:cool:

Has anyone ever heard of grip locks? I guess they are like the stock grip ends that bolt in the ends of the bars except these are made to use with any aftermarket bars. I would like to find who sells these. Its not a good thing to have a grip come off when you only have 1 arm to use to start with.

Here's how I put grips on, and I've never had one come loose using this method... http://www.geocities.com/born2bwild81/ChadsATVpage_gripinstall.html
