M-PEG on disc play on PS2?

I have a friend burning a movie to an M-peg that he's putting on a disc that you would normally play on a computer. Can you play that on a PS2? Or on a regular DVD player?

Yeah, you can watch it on a ps2, but if you have an slightly older dvd player, you cant :rolleyes:

I got one burned VCD to work on my PS2, then never again. It just won't do it for me. I tried several different brands of media, :(
