sometime this year i willl be gettin a lt front end for the 450R, and i was wonderin if it made a noticable difference in handling between +2 or +3 a-arms, i bin looking at the elka quad rate with remote rezzies and fully adjustable so also what arms would be a good match for these shocks, if i got +3's i would probly get offset rims to keep it under 50 inches but i just wonderin if it made that big of a difference, and also can you get more travel with the +3's as compared to the +2's

thanks for the info ahead of time :D

long travel +3 are the best. if your gonna race mx that is. if you get plus 3,you need 19" shocks. they will obsorb every bump you take, theyre amazing.

JRD makes +3 long travel for the R...they're the only company that does too. Great a-arms, i have them on my R with the elka shocks and it works AMAZING.

Hey bro

Ya can get PRP +2 +1s or the long travel PRPs for $525 from JH Racing here in Oklahoma. I have the PRP +2+1s on my 450R while running the stock shocks and they work great. Johnny can tell ya how to set up your stock shocks to work with the a-arms. I have 2 MX races on them and I am very pleased. I used the same front end on my 250R and its great! Anyways, the shop is run by GNC MX Pro #16 Johnny Hale and you can get ahold of him at (918)371-0101. Tell him Chance Maxville sent ya.....

He is moving into his new shop as of right now so if ya dont get ahold of him....try again in a day or two. I was able to reach him Friday so his phone should be working now.

Just thought I'd give ya another option....

Thats funny that you said that cause right now weve got a set of + 2's on the way so that i can revalve my stock shocks till i can afford a lt setup in front and a new back end also, anyway we ordered then 8 weeks ago, and the guy said 4 to 6 weeks so we wait six weeks without calling or anything so as not to bother him, well now to weeks later and we havent talked to the guy at all but weve called twice a day, i dont know what gives but this sure is screwin my seasen up waitin on him:mad:

Holz racing has long travel a-arms in stock. He is new to the market but his a-arms are killer... holzracing.com. I am running 19" custom axis on my long travel. He also has swingarms +1 with new linkage so you can run a dual rate rear. Reminds me of the CR500 link on my 250R. It is awesome. Phone number is 360-398-9686. His name is Mark. Good luck..
