View Full Version : AIr Filters
i have a K&N filter W/ pre- charger, and the other day i was cleaning it and i found dirt in my carb. I was thinking about buy a UNI filter but i was wondering if they are any better.

UNI will collect more smaller particles as opposed to the K&N. K&N tends to let the smaller particles pass through. the pre charger should have prevented this from happening though. i like my UNI and haven't had this problem

you must oil the K&N often in order for it to work properly...

I have both also and K&N pulls more in the bottom and mid range, where the power is needed.

If the particles are small enough to pass through a K and N, then they will just burn up in the motor and cause no harm anyways.
Bottom line... K and N has better flow.

I have had my K&N for like a year and have had absolutely 0 problems with it! Great mod in my opinion
