The Cub's engine (Kohler Magnum 17hp twin) needs a rebuild, so I think I'll soup it up a little bit while it's torn down.:D Port & polish, deck the head? Got any ideas?

Anyone have any performance sites for lawnmower engines? Thanks.

I'm working on planning up some bolt on items, such as dual exhaust. I'm about to buy a commercial lawn mower for the busniess, so my oldest riding mower (the fastest one of them all) is oging to become my hotrod;)

i wouldn't mind soupin my mower up a little bit. shes only a 12 horse rider and it bogs down sometimes in the thicker grass. i just wanna be able to mow that stuff down like it was nothin,

1983 craftsman 10 horse briggs. Never added any oil or changed it. Just throw it in the shed for the season and the beast comes back to life every single year with the first turn of the key. I cant wait till that sac dies to the pops gets a nice new deer.

Yah i just replaced my stock weedeater motor with a modified
go-ped motor, with a nice little chrome pipe i impress the drivers passing me on the road with. Nothing stands in my way!:huh

I didn't want to go with a stroker crank or a major big bore because I don't want to sacrifice reliability. I don't need the power ALL the time, just for mowing the thick stuff, so I opted for nitrous on my mower.

I increases the compression a little, but not too much. I don't want to run straight race gas, I just do a 50/50 mix.
