This is just a follow up thread on my Lonestar Hub problem.

I'm not here to ***** about Lonestar,

I'm just letting everyone know that their Quality could use much improvement, and they have terrible customer service.

The front hubs I ordered from them for 300+ dollars arrived fine, except that the bearing spacers were about 1/4 inch off center from the two bearings. Now, these things are in there good, It took a big hammer and 3 hours to beat the spacers into place. I let Lonestar know about this problem and all they could tell me is that they have never heard of such a thing.

So just my .02, don't buy Lonestar if your looking for quality.

We don't want to get into a heated battle of whose right and wrong like in the past over the forums ,the hubs were bought from a dealer and he did not want to exchange with them for personal reasons. So through email he tried to explain the problem. After checking to make sure he had the right hubs and not sure why they would not be fitting, we offerd to replace them. He did not tell us that he found the problem until after this post.

LSR is correct. I did buy them from a dealer, and they did not help much either.

And LSR did offer to exchange them but the fact of the matter is,
when you pay that much for a piece of aluminum they should at least install the bearings correctly.

I agree, sh*t happens, and it sounds as though Lonestar offered to remedy the situation.
I had a problem with a set of a-arms, Lonestar took care of it, even though I wasn't the original purchaser. Can't ask for much more than that.
Hey LSR, pm me, I need some more stickers for my race and practice quads.

I have absolutely no complaints with Lonestar. They have taken care of me in the past when I have had a problem with one of their products, and don't doubt they will do the same for me in the future.

oh my gosh!:grr: :huh
dantheEXman, quit your belly-aching.
"And LSR did offer to exchange them..." what, did you just FORGET that they said this? cuz from your first post, " and they have terrible customer service. ", it sure sounded like it.
if they offered to replace them, who cares if they didn't fit? they're gonna fix it for you, and you didn't even buy them off lonestar. sounds like superior service to me. "they said they never heard of it" sounds to me like, get this,... THEY NEVER HEARD OF IT!!! send them back to them, they'll check them out and correct the problem!:eek2:
did you expect them to pay you to run their hubs, or what?
you're the one who payed $300 for a set of "high-performance front wheeel hubs"?...:huh...too bad you don't race in my area, those pretty, shiny new hubs would give me something to look at as i pass you with my stockers.

seems like some people always gotta find something to whine about.
