Someone out there with carbon fiber knowledge needs to create some sort of new detachable hood that will allow u to keep the headlight that way you could go with the best of both worlds!

i met a guy at the rausch creek gncc who made one and it looked great. i asked him if he was on any off the forums and he said he didn't have a computer. it's too bad because this thing was nice. he was from up by syracuse n.y.

maybe that's what you think...i think the stock hood makes the 450r look like the doctor should have smacked its momma.. butt ugly. and then the scoop is plastic surgury..and its much needed if you ask me, i like the 450r, i just dont like how it looks.

Somebody needs to make one that used the same system as stock to hold it on the nose. So you don;t have to drill, or cut anything. And then make one that is similar to the stock one, maybe flat across the front instead of the widows peak.

the hoods you guys are asking for are on the way, we are making a version to cover the headlights yet still uses the stock upper piece, and it should be a no tools required set up. The one in the pictures is almost ready for sale, prices TBA, should be a carbon fibre , and a lesser expensive painted fiber glass version of everything. We are also working on a duel steering stabilizer set for for a few dif. models. If the pics dont work i will try again later. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid118/p8fd79dd6e86b462f2822ae7f1042e8fe/f8878886.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid118/p5b65817aee34af29faabd238673ef450/f8878897.jpg

Does that hood, mount in the stock holes, slots, ect?
If so, put my name on the first one available. Looks great.....

the one shown in the pictures is mounted like the other brands but we are going to try to make it fit without tools or drilling. The web site for Generation X ATV will be up within the next few days.
