lol... ya, have fun, have fun in the merg. When ur 18, u do not need a 1100cc bike, you wont even be able to handle a 600cc at that age.

Not to be a dick, but it always gets me when people makes judgments like that. "you wont even be able to handle a 600cc at that age"....what? BS. I totally agree that a 600 is plenty of bike for most all recreational riders, but to say that an 18 year old "can't handle" one is pretty rediculous.

Now don't think that I'm condoning that every first time sportbike rider needs to go out and buy a Hyabusa because I'm not. I think maturity is a big factor....even bigger than riding ability. The thing is, you can have an immature 30 year old just as easy as you can have an immature 16 year old.

My buddy is 17 and he owns a CBR 954rr....he bought an R6 last year (his first time ever on a bike), and I think he handled it pretty awesome.

Like I said...I'm not trying to be a dick, I just hope that you phrased what you were saying wrong. Otherwise it sounds like a 600cc bike is some kind of beast that no one can tame....my god 100lb. girls ride Gixxer 1000's. Just have to have a good head on your shoulders.

The '98 250 Ninja I got for my gf ... man that bike is a hoot to ride. Got it for $1000 off a guy who needed tax money, it only has about 1,000 miles on it :eek2:.
