After prepping the landing ramp, the launch ramp was in place. John Chandler was the first out of the gate and wanted to check things out! That boy has a hell of a way of checking things out:D

A few of the racers from the days event wanted a stab at that ramp!

After adjusting the ramp, the rider took several practice runs getting a feel for the landing and take off.

I was grateful for the practice as I wasnt fully prepared to be shooting at night, especially when my subject is 35 feet over my head:devil:

Pappy

Some of the locals werent real comfortable and attempted tricks, but I give them each due credit for even hitting that jump...at night...in the sand!

awsome pictures pappy. yea it was really cool to finally meet you. i thougth there was going to be a few more exriders there but no one said anything. it was a pretty cool event but the ramp was only set at 65 when its made for 85. the next time we do something on the beach we're going to put plywood down and corragated steel for the runway then we'll be able to go as big as we usually do :macho

well, I promise to try and travel to anywhere close you guys are preforming and do better with the pictures. the nighttime shooting is iffy at best.

you guys did great under the lights and in the sand, but yes, i agree that a better run up area would have helped a ton!
