I am going to go from a big gun exhaust to a curtis sparks x-6 Full pipe. How do this two compare. I am thinking the sparks would kick the big Guns *****. Any oppinions?

Sparks makes a great pipe, but I doubt you see any vast improvement over the Big gun. Maybe a little on top. I used to run a Big GUN, now I have an X6.The BIG GUN seemed to hit a lot harder in the bottom and mid range, where as the Sparks is more towards the top.I kinda wish I just saved my money and put it into suspension instead. I ride tight woods and rarely get into the top end.

The biggest thing that I noticed is most of the other pipes have a slightly bigger head pipe. I have a ported head And its kind of a waste to have the exhaust opened up without the header bigger also. And I agree, The big gun makes O lot of low end power. I just found a deal on a sparks exhaust so I thought I would try it out.

Dude you wasted 450 bucks.....You should have bought a new carb instead, especially after porting the head!!! My friend and i have the same mods and we run neck and neck and he has the
x-6 and i have the biggun, its whoever gets the hole shot who wins when we race. That is my 2 cents, my friend!

I wouldn't say a waste!! It is more of a mid to top exhaust but it seems with your 426 ported, it should be pretty powerful. I also had to buy 3 other exhaust to find the right exhaust. I did buy a Sparks and it defintely improve mid to top but I felt like it lost low end. :D

I never buy new, My Big gun pipe cost me 75$ when I bought it. I got this sparks pipe for 250$. So when its all said and done I will sell the big gu n for around 200-250 and be into the curtis sparks for around 100-125$ for a full pipe. I am getting a carb also I just havent decided witch one yet. I like the FCR but I like how easy the edelbrock is to tune in and adjust. As have also thought about taking my stock carb and having it taper bored out. We have a guy here locally that will do it for 40$. I am cheap so the 40$ seems like the way to go but I know I wont get as much power as if I had the full aftermarket carb.
