John Deere parts online???

Where does everyone get their JD tractor parts from? I tried to order mine from the JD site a while back and you can place the order there and pick up the parts at your local dealer. Well, my local dealer doesn't honor the online prices. I was wondering if there's a place to order JD parts from that doesn't rip you off on shipping too bad and has good prices. I guess I'm looking for a place alot like Service Honda.com. Thanks alot!

That's gonna be tough to do. You pay a lot for anything with JD on it. I should know, all of our farm machinery is DEERE. They have sales yearly though. Watch, or ask about it. I know we always stock up on oil in like Feb. b/c they have a bunch of parts on sale.

Thanks for the help but I didn't have any luck. My tractor was made in the 80's so the yesterdays tractors link didn't help because they deal in stuff 1975 or older. I also went to the van wall site but I didn't see parts on there anywhere. It was all new stuff or used equiptment. I saw the link to the official JD web site but I've already been there. Do I have to contact Van Wall and order from them or something? Have you dealt with them for parts before 400exmom? ?

i gotta fix mine tonite or tomorrow. i have an early 90's Cub Cadet. the mower deck started smokin on the last cut last year. ive had the repair parts for months. now that the grass is around a foot tall, i gotta put the mofo back together. i hope that site works, id like to find a place to get parts for it 4 less than ive been payin

mine is an early 80's 650. It has the two cylinder Yanmar diesel.
