Stock exhaust on big bore

Could you run a stock exhaust on a 416EX with a JE 10.8:1 piston and cam? Would it hurt it at all?

you can run the stock exhaust with all of that.....but it won't work to its full capability. If you can, get a complete exhaust;)

He is right. Running the stock exhaust won't hurt anything, but your 416 wont run nearly as fast as possible. Once you do get an exhaust, you will notice a HUGE power increase.

I had a 01' 400ex that was bored .040 over with a wiseco 10:1 comp piston with a WB all-round cam. I had a TC exhaust. It had tons of power, but I put the stock pipe back on when we went to silver lake to ride and I couldn't tell a difference from stock. My advice would be if you want to go internal you should have a pipe first....
