~~Dealers Challenge Overall Best rider Team race~~~

This was the first Team race for our Dealers Challenge and "Best Overall rider " at the Clay Peak track in Payette Idaho......
This event consisted of 5 events over a full wk end.... On Sat. riders in all classes were to do one Moto of : Flattrack
Supercross
1000 sand drag

This first pic i the track owners Tag and Robin.For thsoe who are running the WORCS round in Payette this Fall, this is who at some point you may end up talking to..You wont meet two nicer people....:)

first event of the morning was flattrack style......This was NO WHERE NEAR what a typical flattrack normally is..... on corners one,two and three if you wre to go LONg....You would end up off a cliff:eek: this track sat up on a smaller Mountain side that they carved out for this wk ends event......First race was B Class Troy and blueZ440 on the first lap:macho

Troys tires were hookin up mighty fine for this track...He was TEARIN!:cool:

Z440,KFX and ZFZ..This corner was a fast corner for a smaller track

Last lap.....Troy still in the lead,KFX,and Z440 this corner sucked,it was a bit slower a turn then you sink into a hole:grr:Troy on his Predator wins this MOTO.......:blah: :macho

In this moto, the R was movin.......:eek2: following close behind in the first lap of so was a Raptor,Banshee,LT500 and a KFX470(400) sorry hard to tell which ride it was in this moto......:o

I talke one of the guys into takinga few pics of the ladies class but it looks like not too many to report......:mad: This is local Donna Gill on a Honda 440ex.. This girls Rocked this wk end!!:macho Very fast and full on endurance..I have to give her a hats off .she not only raced atv,but also raced the dirt bikes both days...... Donna took home the 1st place overall Womens ?Best rider .WAY TO GO!!!:macho

This girl can fly on this thing on a fast flattrack:eek2: and she rocked on t he WORCS race,shes a real trooper and a fun girl to hang with..She managed to flip that thing on her three different times on the WORCS syle race and still was determined to finish!! Thank goodness no injuries to report....... ;)

here is a pic of the Super Motocross Track.......Most of the quad riders werent to hip on this track,its Def. set up more for the bikes and its actually more for the mini bikes than anything,but they ran it SuperCross syle to Sat. Second event.....

Last event of the day was a 1000 ft. Drag race....This was a blast!!!!:blah: you had No Prblem hitting it in 5th gear towards the middle of the dune hill,you run into a whoops tht slowed us down a bit ,thanks to me having a blown shock thi wk end ALL the bumps were no fun....:( heres a pic of some of us lining up

that mx track looks pretty sick to me. And they always make quads go out and clean up the track first at my local track so its nothing new. Ours is tilled up and then watered, i hate going through that fluff.

But if you think about it, letting the quads smoothly pack it down is best for the track. If dirt bikes go out after the track is worked on, it gets ugly fast. Nasty whoops and ruts in the corners.

This is Sun. WORCs Style race.......I did not participate in this event.....I ran out of memory on my Camera for the Sun. Motorcross event so I have no pics.....
I had a little spill on Lap 3 at the top of a Sweeper/Hill I hit a whoop hard enough to pitch me sideways off my quad:( thanks to a blown rear shock,I have a fw nasty little dents in my Yoshi from bottoming out :mad: I got back on it ,but I had toslow down just to get threw I did NOT want to DNF! I was a little sore for most of the day so I sat out for the WORCs Style race...Seemedlike my luck was a litte against me this wk end.......:confused:
so heres a few of the WORCS Style race....... Riders take note when you race this in the fall, there is some knarly terrain!:eek2: Desert trails that are very narrow a +3 is BARELY getting threw some of the trails.. Troy said that his PRedator was scraping literally threw some of it then theres a good Dropp off hill and then stright into a turn and a Gulley ......Also I heard from ALL the riders that partof the hill had nothing but DEEP Talc to ride threw..... Along with this, you have a mix of FASt Sand trails WIDE open:blah: theres not alot of rock so far, so skid plates should not take too much of a beaten......

How come you guys didnt come get my rear shock in my attic? Its almost new and its sitting collecting dust. Troy was going to use my tires but he never called till friday and I was gone. He could have grabbed that rear shock also.

He was very happy to finish second in the overall.

I sent my top end out for a bore and new piston. It should be back some time next week. I hope I can get it back before the poker run. If not I can always ride the banshee.

Looks like it was fun I wish I would have had known about this event I would have tried to go. The track looks sweet and quad friendly. I am not sure if I'll make the WORCS race there being so close to Thanksgiving.

But for the next Dealers challenge that goes on over there I want to know.

Great pic's Thanks! Yes, Robin and Tag make quads freindly at aLL of there tracks here in Idaho...They have three of them that I know of. I have raced on two ofthem.Great people.......;)
