Would you have to change your valve springs if you put a cdi box on your 400 ex (9300rpm-to-10300rpm)???....ive herd many roomers that you have to but i just want to make sure :rolleyes:

You might have to, to prevent valve floating at such high r's. I'd ask people with experience though, as I am not sure. You may not have to.

yup when you reach higher rpms your run a greater chance of floating your valves which could be leathal for your motor, so yah, it's recomended with some aftermarket cdi's but not all
