MX Predator is DONE finally!

Alright its been 4 months since i tore this bad boy down.....my plans didnt go as planned but i think it turned out well...im not gonna bother to explain the whole problem with wat happened but ill give u the rundown....this was a complete winter rebuild...i started with warrantying my frame for a new 04 updated frame....when i received that the predator was stripped to just the motor in the original 03 frame...the new frame, subframe, swingarm, aarms, water pump cover, oil filter cover, brake lever, and steering stem were all powdercoated mirror black...i have a new silver subframe on but ignore it the black one will be on soon..lol....i also reworked my front shocks and added rezzies, the rath graphics were just put on, i removed the fan, i have a rebuildable PEP steering stabilizer but didnt feel like putting it on yet, i have new galfer brake pads all around, ASR billet brake line clamps...thats pretty much it for mods i had this thing in piecesss so i replaced all the bearings, new axle housing with all new bearings,...so enough talk here is the finished pred

yep, i boned it...it should have been candy red translucent. but seeing the finished product i dont think it would have looked as good. the red on the graphics, seat cover and hiper rings wouldnt match the frame and thrown the scheme off bigtime. and as the other reds faded it would have looked worse. the way she sits now it has "pissed off" spelled all over it.


you better ride the chit outta it....because it has a pretty kick *** race look to it:macho

i saw this last night at the races and it is one sick *** predator...but he blew a front shock:blah: did u race i dont seem to recognize any of your modss the only 2 400exs there were basically stock....ya i called my fox shocks rep today he said he has seen the same thing with the darker colored rezzies blowing apart so ill be having it warrantied tuesday at the shop and have the shock rebuilt...i have a sno-x banquet to go to next weekend so i wont be up to the track but ill def be there for the opening of the new mx track...im working out all the bugs on the quad....yesterday was needed to help find out wat needs to be done and i have a list of things i need to go through...i went over that same berm twice because i didnt have any rear brakes my master cylinder is ****ed so i got caught up in the soft **** and just couldnt stop or steer out of it and i flipped it cuz i didnt wanna get stuck in the mud puddle again...****in flag boy didnt wanna get his feet wet so i was ****in dying trying to get it out the first time i was stuck on 2 haybails...my shock blew apart in practice so i had a rough 2 motos....hiitting the big finish line table was quite an experience with a blown shock and the whoop section was tricky and rough as ****...neways ill have her all flawless by the time i make it to next race and hopefully keep it on the track lol....i wanted to pull something off the finish line table but u kno how much they screw quads over at that track i prob wwould have gotten quads banned cuz i was "showing off" even tho the dbikes were.........the new sx track is mint tho its much faster than the old one i think i wish some of the jumps werent so ****ed up tho...the back step upp was retarded i had to downshift to 2nd and kinda hop it over and drop the front end and carry the back over the lip i almost took a header a few times off that, and theres no real rythm to the whoops its like bounce off them and just get through....i wish i wasnt stuck behind the guys that slow down on the big jumps like that one jump you can tripple, joel was doing it on his yfz and i did when i got back out by myself, i liked how i rode soo much faster after i crashed then i did before i was right behind that kid on the SRP/walsh bike #25 he was pretty sick he **** on everyone lol....once i get my bike right ill be a little more confident especially when i have working rear brakes...just fronts is a little sketchy in corners lol....thanks for all the good comments guys...TLp

I've always hated the way Preds look, actually all Polaris's, but yours is pretty damn sweet! Good job man, you've accomplished the impossible, impressed a Polaris-hater :devil: .

Btw- get some pics of that beast in action! once im fully recovered from a severe concussion i suffered in a bad crash friday on my practice track ill get out riding and take pictures, the pred is fine but im not...i was told stay away from the quad and sports for one week and my shoulder is very swollen, its hard to lift above a certain point...but its still good for riding lol...thanks ~TLP
