300ex needle position

Let me ask fellow 300ex riders what position their needle is at

is the needle jet seldomly changed?
should i leave it in the stock position?

You only really change the position when re jetting. I only did it to accomodate the set up from my HMF installation. Kind of a pain in the a**;)
