250EX Rear Brake needs improvement

I have an almost new 2002 250EX. The rear brake is in adjusment and the hyd. lines are bled correctly. But I would like more rear stopping power. Can anyone recommend an improvement suchas different brake matl. etc. Part of my problem could be my body weight (230) vs. the manufacturer's max. rating of 243lb.

well maybe you can get a 300ex braking sytem somehow and custom fit it.

I would try different pads. Find pads that fit your riding style, some are better for mud, some are better for racing...etc.
