Mismatching headers and silencers?

Is it OK to use like an FMF Power Bomb header and an HMF silencer, or is it better to stick to the same brand?

I'm assuming that you are talking about the HMF slip-on exhaust. I'm not sure if it matters. Probably something that wouldn't work on full system setups. I ran an FMF and WB E-series for about 17 mos. Before my full system.

I know Rico runs a Powerbong header with a HMF silencer. But I am not sure what systems hook up to what headres.

I think that the fmf powerbomb will work with any slip on that fits the stock headpipe.

I was just wondering if i could use my old fmf head pipe on a stage 2 xcellerator???just wonderign if any one has any info in this situation

If the stage 2 xcellerator fit your stock head pipe, then it will fit your FMF Powerbomb.

Im running the fmf Hi flo with a big gun slip on and it is much better than the big gun header. My buddy is running the power bomb with the white bros. r4 and he likes my set up much better.
