400ex OTD?

My dealer quoted me 5249 + tax and motor vehicle fees. I've never owned a quad but have ridden a few 250-300cc automatics. I only do trail riding so is the 400ex right for me? Also how is that OTD price?

BTW I'm in NJ.

get the honda 400ex that is one of my personal favorite bikes i been threw alot on mine... and wish i still had it.


DO NOT HOLD ME TO IT! but i believe the hona 400ex in tenn.. are saling for either 4200-4400. no higher no cheaper..


i bought my yfz for 5999.00 by the time the dealer gets you to pay 5299.00 and you put a pipe and nerfs on it you could have purchased a honda or yamaha 450.. and you prob wont need any power improvement for a while.

but if you like hill climbing and want a edge over your buddies i would get the yfz..


the honda 450r is a really good choice to! dont limit your options and dont be like me buying 4 bikes before you find the one you want.

I am wanting to get one also. I think it will be perfect for me, upgrading from a blaster. I do trail riding, and hill climbs...i cant wait
