My Hmf header is blueing, can i polish it or should i get it ceramic coated??? id rather just polish it for now, but if it wont work then i wont bother..any feedback will help..thanx alot

you can get it ceramic coated. polishing might help but will only work for a short term fix.

eastwood company has a bluish color remover for exhaust headers. i purchased a bottle but was afraid to use it on my chrome lrd headers because it would have scratched the chrome all up....so i just leave them be as blue :p

Get it coated, I love it. It looks good and cleans easy. I melted a glove on mine checking the oil, it washed off at the car wash. Plus, they even claim a HP increase from it as well if you coat inside too. But I am sure it is not much if any. Still well worth it.

lean conditions may cause the red hot pipes.
