300ex bore

what is the best bore for my 300ex if i'm going to make it a pure MX racing machine............

330 prolly. but i would do chassis mods first so you can actually ride the power of the quad, by the sounds of it this is your first year racing and the chassis and suspension mods will help you more than motor mods at first.

you want to be able to ride your motor at its full potential everywhere on the track, that makes you fast!

if you have a motor that flat out screws it with stock suspension and geometry you will be as fast as the guy next to you with a stock 300 motor with full blown chassis mods.

I would agree a arms, axle, shocks first, then motor mods.

Most go with the 330 bore, but many push the limits of the 300ex and go with the 350 bore. Either way buy a high quality kit and have your cases machined correctly.
